March 24 – 26, 2023

Thank you to everyone who made Ziigwan 2023 such a huge success! This celebration would not have been possible without our incredible performers, vendors, partners, and of course all the attendees; your support made Ziigwan a weekend to remember!

ABOUT ZIIGWAN

Ziigwan is a three-day Indigenous music and arts festival brought to you by the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund and Downtown Yonge Business Improve Area (DYBIA), in collaboration with ELMNT FM Radio, Red Music Rising, Canada’s Music Incubator and Music Tourism. Ziigwan, (SEE-gwon) the Anishnaabemowin word for springtime, celebrates the healing and learning power of music and art, the rebirth of spring, and the collective awakening as we walk together on the path toward reconciliation.
