9th Indigenous Legacy Gathering
Join us for the 9th Annual Indigenous Legacy Gathering (ILG), a meaningful celebration of culture and community held at Nathan Phillips Square. Organized by Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre, the Gathering honours residential school survivors, their families, and communities, while uplifting the diverse traditions of Indigenous Peoples through ceremony, language, artistry, and song.
Over the years, the ILG has become a powerful space for healing and reconnection, where stories are shared, cultures celebrated, and the strength of community shines. With tipi’s, sunrise ceremonies, a sacred fire, traditional drumming and dances, educational workshops, art, film, and performances, the Gathering invites everyone to come together, reflect, learn, and honour our history and resilience.
