International First Peoples’ Festival
Since 1990, the International First Peoples’ Festival (Présence autochtone) has brought together film, music, dance, storytelling, and visual arts in a vibrant, multidisciplinary program that unites artists and audiences in dialogue and discovery. At its heart, Place des Festivals is transformed each summer by striking scenography inspired by First Peoples’ worldviews and by the work of contemporary Indigenous artists who draw on deep artistic and spiritual traditions.
