Stetís ímexstowx | Walk Beside Us

Join us at Civic Plaza and Thunderbird Square for Stetís ímexstowx (Walk Beside Us), a community day of learning, reflection, and connection in honour of Truth and Reconciliation.

Stetís ímexstowx (Stah tee-ss ee-mehx-sst-owwhx) is a meaningful Halq’eméylem phrase that translates to “walk beside us.” Guided by this spirit, local civic organizations have come together to create opportunities for the public to deepen their understanding of Truth and Reconciliation, the history and impacts of Residential Schools, and our shared role in moving forward together.
