Ten years ago, Secret Path began our journey. Today, the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund invites you to continue with us on the path toward reconciliation. Do Something.

The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund (DWF) is delighted to invite you to the Secret Path 10th Anniversary Concert – a special evening of music, reflection, connection, and celebration. As we mark the 10th anniversary of Secret Path, we will be bringing together DWF’s community of partners, Artist Ambassadors, friends, and special guests on Friday, October 23, 2026, to celebrate this important milestone.

Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the concert begins at 8:00 PM.

All tickets are general admission and $89.00/each + taxes & services. Funds raised through the sale of the tickets support DWF’s programs, campaigns, events, and initiatives.

The evening will include:

DWF Artist Ambassadors performing songs from Secret Path, their originals, and Tragically Hip covers
Indigenous vendor marketplace
Exclusive DWF merch
Refreshments for purchase

Impact of Secret Path

DWF has used Secret Path and Chanie Wenjack’s story as a starting point to help support teachers in ensuring the next generation of Canadians learn not only the true history of residential schools, but the richness, strength, and diversity of Indigenous cultures. From there, together, we have created meaningful opportunities to participate in reconciliation through education, programs, campaigns, and events that bring Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples together.

Our collective impact includes:

More than 10,000 educators from 7,000+ schools all over Canada will receive free educational tools and resources that support teaching about Indigenous histories, perspectives, and rights this school year
250,000+ students, from early learning to post-secondary, will have access to reconciliation-focused resources, including Secret Path multimedia, this year
Nearly 3 million reconciliACTIONs (meaningful actions that move reconciliation forward) taken to date
