  • Online donations of $5.00 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
  • To donate by mail, please make cheques payable to “The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund” and mail them to PO Box 749, Ohsweken, ON NOA 1M0
    • Donations of $10.00 or more received by mail are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
    • Please note cheques received that are not made out to our full payable name “The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund” will not be accepted by the bank and sent back to the donor.

Inspired by Chanie’s story and Gord’s call to build a better Canada, the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund aims to build cultural understanding and create a path toward reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Our goal is to improve the lives of Indigenous people by building awareness, education, and connections between all peoples in Canada.
