  • To donate by mail, please make cheques payable to Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund and mail to PO Box 749, Ohsweken, ON, N0A 1M0.
    • Donations of $10 or more received by mail are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
  • To donate from your smartphone, text DWF to 20222 and select a $10 or $25 donation.
  • Online donations of $5 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
  • Please note, tribute donations will not receive an automated email through the online donation form. Tribute donation letters and emails will be sent weekly. If you require a more immediate response, please visit Canada Helps to make your donation.

Inspired by Chanie’s story and Gord’s call to build a better Canada, the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund aims to build cultural understanding and create a path toward reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Our goal is to improve the lives of Indigenous people by building awareness, education, and connections between all peoples in Canada.
